Resorts World Casino NYC Empowers Kids with $10,000 Donation to BGCMQ

SOUTH RICHMOND HILL, NY — Resorts World Casino New York City gave the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Queens (BGCMQ) a $10,000 jump start to their holiday fundraising campaign. The donation was announced during BGCMQ’s family Thanksgiving Dinner on Tuesday, November 26th . The generous contribution pushes them halfway towards reaching their goal of raising $20,000 by the end of the year.

“Resorts World Casino New York City continues to show their commitment to empowering kids in the Queens community. We are the only youth development program in the area that guides children through a pipeline that nurtures their health, creativity, academic and leadership skills from PreK into adulthood. We are extremely grateful to have Resorts World Casino New York City as partners in our work and we hope their generosity inspires others to support our mission of providing quality youth programs this holiday season,” said Executive Director David Kupecky.

Boys & Girls Club of Metro Queens will kick-off their holiday campaign one week before Giving Tuesday. Created in 2012 as a counter to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday has grown into a global movement and is now the biggest day of giving and philanthropy for organizations across the world.
